Girls in Russia are beautiful and smart. Anywhere you look there is a neat, slender, pretty girl with nice make-up and stylish clothing who is most likely also a university graduate or a computer savvy. You can find many smart and beautiful Russian girls in any Russian city. However, for them finding a partner who would be a match in either one of those criteria is hard. Girls in Russia have all-round education, take care of their manners, improve their speech skills and tastes, learn foreign languages and broaden their outlook. In fact, the most popular thing to study in Russia now is foreign languages – there are language courses in every city, they open language centers and  language libraries. Why is it so popular? It is because Russian beauties prefer to learn a language, meet a foreigner, get married and leave their country. So why do so many Russian girls not want to stay in Russia?

       Most young girls in Russia do not feel they can achieve their full potential and goals in their country. They believe that they deserve a better life. Of course, partially it is due to the influence of the mass-media and American shows with happy endings. Russian girls believe that if they go abroad, they will have the same happy ending like in American movies. They believe that life is simpler overseas and they will be more appreciated there.

       Another reason is that for most Russian girls, young men from Russia are already out of fashion and out of the question. Some young men in Russia have trouble with good manners, do not know how to court a woman, drink a lot and may be abusive. Of course, not all Russian men are like that. Some girls manage to find a diamond in a pile of pebbles, stay in Russia and live happily. Or there are girls that find someone tolerable and bear this burden as long as they can.

       A person with European or Western mentality is very noticeable in Russia. For someone who even speaks Russian but doesn't understand how Russian people can ask someone for a cigarette if they have their own or drink alcohol in the morning on a holiday, Russia may seem to be a mysterious country. Difference in mentalities, however, is not such a problem in other countries because there are people from all over the world there and no one even pays attention to it any more. That is why even being in a foreign country, Russian girls do not feel lost.
