If you want to find out if your Russian girlfriend is true and faithful to you, do not hire a detective to spy on her, install hidden cameras  in some godforsaken corner of Russia or sneak bugs into her purse. There is a couple of simpler ways of spying on her to find out what she does, who she talks to and where she lives.

       Sometimes you simply need to know if the girl who you consider your online girlfriend and have never met in person is really what she says she is. If she isn't, she will not give you any correct personal information about herself, such as her address or her name. If you want to check if the address she gave you is real, simply send her a little gift and wait for her reaction. A simple letter reaches Russian in 2 weeks, or in 4 weeks during holidays. A better thing would be sending a small parcel. Usually when they deliver a parcel in Russia or ask the receiver to receive it at the post office, they have to check the identity of the person by their passport. That is why if you sent a parcel to a certain name, the girl will not receive it if she gave you the right address but not the right name.

       Another method of spying on your Russian girlfriend is to check her social network posts. The majority of Russian people do not use such sites as Classmates, Facebook or MySpace. However, they use their Russian equivalent - Odnoklassniki.ru - Russian social network.

       First of all, find out how your Russian girlfriend spells her full name both in Russian and English, as she may use either one of them on this site. Then go to Odnoklassniki.ru. The interface of the site is only in Russian and Ukrainian. However, with the help of a Google dictionary or a Russian friend you can register your account on the site (don't use your real name, if you do want to spy =) ) and find her on it by using the Search (Поиск) option. Odnoklassniki.ru allows you to view her friends, chats in her forum, comments to her pictures, etc. However, she will also see those who viewed her profile (you). That is the reason why you shouldn't use your real name or post your pictures in the profile. Spying on your girlfriend there can be easy if it is done right, because the girl doesn't expect you to even know about such a site. However, she will most likely post in Russian, so using a dictionary can be very helpful.

       If she happens to use one of the English-speaking social networks, then it's even better for you and you know what to do.
