Which profiles on dating sites turn out to be fake in most cases? Of course, profiles with pictures of pretty girls. Among 10 of such profiles more than half can turn out to be fake (depending on what type of girls you are into). It is important to learn how to see a fake Russian profile from the beginning before you fall into the trap. An experienced man who has dated women online for a while needs a single glance at a fake profile to know that it's fake. So here are some of the common signs of a fake Russian profile.
Empty Profiles
Most profiles that have just one beautiful, professional picture with no additional pictures or information about its owner are fake. If you were a beautiful young Russian lady, wouldn't you post more (or even all) of your beautiful professional pictures and tell more about yourself in your Russian profile?
Why do scammers not fill the profile out? Scammers usually try to open more than one fake profile in order to (so to say) increase the coverage. So they may not have time to fill them all out with different information. Also it is much simpler for a scammer to communicate with someone when he/she hasn't disclosed any information to anyone in his/her profile.
Pictures with Photoshopped Background
Sometimes nice single-colour background in a picture can be a sign that the picture is used by the person it doesn't belong to. Scammers may try to cover some details or even change pictures for a fake profile just to give you less details about themselves. That is why some pictures with a nice background or a gradient that looks like it was changed in Photoshop can be pictures from a scammer's profile.
Profiles with Nicknames that Don't Look Like Names
Most people love themselves too much to name their profile something other than their personal name or a nickname that reminds of their name. That is why one of the signs of a scammer's profile, is that it is not personal – the name is usually absent in it. So, a name from a fake profile would look more like SweetieForYou, than Kate27.
These signs do not work in 100% of cases, of course. There can be situations when all these signs are present but the person is real, not a scammer. So they should be used along with sober judgment and other details you can find about the person you're dating with.
